I am not a fitness Guru. What I know upon nutrition you can fit on the head of a pin and still have plenty of room left over for the declaration of independence. I do however know How I lost over 70 lbs in just 12 months. I can still fondly remember when my 3 germinal Food Groups consisted of Cheeseburgers, Fries and a Diet coke. Everyday at lunch I would get a Double hamburger Plain (Meat whipping cream and Bun Only) Fries and a Diet Coke (as if somehow the Diet Coke made a difference). Then Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Diabetes. My whole thought process on Eating, dieting and exercise changed. I found myself eating foods I never thought I would ever eat. Yogurt, Lettuce, Whole Grain cane and fruit have now go with regular parts of my diet. Hamburgers and Fries are now a treat that I enjoy once a month or. I no longer stuff myself until I am so full that I need a tow truck to haul me from the table. I merely eat until I am not hungry. Most of my meals out are now accompanied with a Doggie Bag so I can have 2 Meals. Not in that I can't finish it all but for I determine not too. My snacks frequently consist of an orange or Pear instead of a box of cookies. Rice Cakes really do taste great. Peach Yogurt and a small slice of half-and-half also makes a wonderful snack. I no longer look at mowing the lawn as a stint but as an opportunity to get more exercise.
